Education: Ecole Nationale d’Administration (1999).

Upon graduating from Ecole Nationale d’Administration in 1999, Vincent Floréani was assigned to the United Nations Sub-Department of Political Affairs, where he had responsibility for Iraq, Libya, and the reform of the Security Council. From 2002 to 2005, as an expert in the Security Council, Floreani served as first secretary at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations. From 2008 to 2011, he was second in command at the Embassy of France in Abu Dhabi. Floréani was deputy spokesman and deputy director of communications and the press for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and assistant director of the press since 2011. He became consul general of France in Chicago with jurisdiction for the 13 Midwestern states in August 2014.
